2021 Valentine’s Gifts on a Budget | Small Business

How has Valentine’s Day come around so quickly already? It doesn’t seem like five minutes since last year’s Valentine’s Day. My partner and I don’t normally do Valentine’s gifts – just cards and a little meal out somewhere nice – but this year, in light of everything that’s going on in the world, we’ve given ourselves a small budget to buy some little gifts. With that in mind, I’ve put together a small business gift guide for budget-friendly Valentine’s Day gifts for him and her in 2021. Please note that I have included Affiliate links below; it won’t cost you any more but I do get a small cut from any purchases you make.

2021 Valentine’s on a Budget

Whether your budget is £5, £10 or £20, I’ve tried to include a little something for everything. One of my goals for 2021 is to share as many Small Businesses as possible within my gift guides so I’ve principally used Etsy within this guide, although I’ve also included a few of my favourite Instagram businesses as well.

Personalised Music Print – From £7.99 – Etsy

This gift is perfect for music lovers and romantics alike – whether you’re in a new-ish relationship with a song you and your partner share a love for, or else you’re looking to memorialise your first dance song, I absolutely ADORE this print. When Richard and I get married, he has suggested a lovely song that will likely be our first dance so it’d be lovely to have a print as lovely as this one to document the song and its lyrics. You can get a ‘print your own’ version for £7.99 and then a variety of other sizes printed and framed if your budget is a little bit bigger.

I Hate You the Least Mug Valentines Gift

I Hate You the Least Mug – £10.80

A mug is always a lovely gift – especially at the moment with everyone working from home and living a very ‘indoors’ lifestyle. Pair the mug with some fancy hot chocolate (and mini marshmallows) for the perfect lockdown Valentines gift for your fave hot choccie lover!

Gnome Keyring Valentines Gift

There is Gnome One Else I’d Want… Keyring – £5.95

A cute and affordable gift for the loved one in your life. Perhaps you and your partner have recently moved in together or else you’re sharing a key to your home with them – or perhaps they just love keyrings!

Budget Valentine’s Day Gifts for Her

I always find that gifts for her are much easier than gifts for him – with candles, cake and other goodies on the ‘yay!’ list for gals, men can guarantee that they’ll find something romantic and thoughtful on a budget this Valentine’s Day.

Letterbox Brownies Valentines Gift

Letter Box Brownies – £14.00

Letterbox brownies are one of my favourite concepts – I absolutely adore cakes and brownies and getting them in the post is just so novel for me. These particular ones as linked above are highly recommended and have great reviews – and are a great price as well. Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or someone else, you can’t go wrong with letterbox tray bakes.

You and Me Personalised Scrapbook

You and Me = Heart Scrapbook – £17.95

If your partner is sentimental and you have the time to put together a scrapbook of your memories together, then this gorgeous scrapbook is a great choice. I absolutely adore scrapbooking and memorialising our pictures and ticket stubs and while this year hasn’t been the BEST for making memories, having somewhere to store the ones we have made has been great for my mental health. They’re also fabulous to look back over in the future.

Reusable Face Pads Valentines Gift

Reusable Face Pads – From £6.99

For the eco-warriors among us, this is a perfect gift. Things like this are things that I personally wouldn’t buy for myself because they can be quite expensive if you buy enough of them – but I’d be thrilled to receive it as a gift as I’m always looking for ways to reduce my waste and be more sustainable.

Budget Valentine’s Gifts for Him

Chilli Sauce Valentines Gift Set – From £9.98

I always find buying that buying gifts for guys is particularly challenging, especially when they already have everything they need. If your partner is a fan of the spice, why not treat them to some Valentines chilli sauce?

Gourmet Marshmallow Gift Valentine's

Gourmet Marshmallow Set – £14.25

Got a partner with a bit of a sweet tooth? Why not treat them to a gorgeous Gourmet Marshmallow Set from the Naked Marshmallow Company? With an array of different flavours to choose from and everything you need to perfectly toast your ‘mallows,

Gin Botanicals Valentine's Gift

My Manly Gin Glass and Gin Botanicals –  £8.00 – £11.00

Gin lover? The ‘My Manly Gin Glass’ is a favourite of mine and you can’t go wrong pairing it with a bottle of your loved ones favourite gin and some gin botanicals to make it feel like you’re at your fave gin bar! Add a bit of glitter to the Manly Gin Glass to make it all the more manly!

Perfect Valentine’s Day Cards

Newer relationship and just want to get a card? In it for the long haul and you know just how much the perfect card means to your partner? I have you covered with a few of my favourites:

Olive You Card – £3.25

I love a pun – particularly when it’s food related and has cute little drawings like this one does! Affordable and adorable – I can guarantee you won’t be buying the same card with something like this!

My Heart Beets For You Dwight The Office Card

My Heart Beets Only for You Dwight Card – £3.99

The perfect card for any fans of The US Office. Dwight is without a doubt one of the best characters in the show and he’s definitely loveable – show your love with this ‘My Heart Beets Only for you’ beetroot card this Valentine’s Day.

My Sweet Potato Valentine's Card

My Sweet Potato Card – £3.80

This one is just amazing – just like Toy Story! I love the Mr and Mrs Potato heads and this card is perfect for any Toy Story fan.

How are you planning on spending Valentine’s this year? Do you celebrate or is it just like any other year? Let me know!
